Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
I will start by saying that G wrote all the music and I wrote only the lyrics and had few suggestions for the mixing process and the creation of the electronic sounds. I think the sound of WRNSS, its mood, blended with the lyrics, represents what we had in our mind since the beginning of the band. The final result of the album gave us a big sense of satisfaction and relief, after that we had been working on it for almost three years. For us, the most important thing is to play music that we'd like to play and listen to.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
WRNSS is not the new black metal masterpiece, it's not something new, but it's what we felt when we wrote it, both musically and lirically, and I think it's a good album. I don't want to label our sound in different ways, for me it's only black metal, nor i want to make comparisons between Abisso and other bands, who will listen to it will have his own opinion about it. We listen to many different music genres, so it's easy to find similarities with both black metal bands and not black metal bands.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The composition and recording of WRNSS took us, specifically G who wrote the music, a short period of time, but a lot happened inbetween. At first we had rehearsals with a real drummer, a friend, who was anyway supposed to be just a session member because we consider Abisso a mere studio project, but things were working really slow, so we decided in the end to utilize a drum machine, and we are satisfied with it. D, programmed the drums, the noise effects and also recorded and mixed the whole album.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
Since the first moment I saw the picture that would have become the cover, I loved it. I won't say what it really is because I want the listener to give its own interpretation. I can say it represents really well the concept behind WRNSS, the music and the lyrics. My lyrics deal with common topics of my life and everyone's life. Hope, misery, void and repetition of life. I don't know if they are positive or negative, but who reads them can give them a different meaning.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We want that as many people as possible would listen and know Abisso, hopefully enjoying the band and spreading the news of its existence. We plan to record new material soon, and this is our only goal, not playing live. We want not to cover ourselves by making the same album over and over, but moving forward, without losing our sound amd identity.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
Roberto, the owner of our label Third-I-Rex, did a great job, producing WRNSS and promoting it. The release has been printed in 100 copies and it can be purchased via the label's Bandcamp page on digital format and also on physical copy.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
We and the label are promoting WRNSS on social medias, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and we are gaining very good responses by fans, webzines and reviews in general. Things are going well but we always want more, of course. As I already said, we want to reach more and more people, hopefully giving them a good impression. We don't care about money, and if streaming and download can help us to be known and appreciated, we're happy.
