Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
The songs are all energetic, full of the old thrash metal spirit, but with some influences of the new wave of thrash. The intention in all of them fast and heavy, some breaks to headbang, guitar solos, and some arrangements in the drums and shrill vocals. Each lyric has one sense, from our underground scene, the repression that happened during the military dictatorship in Brazil, the religious genocide that is happening in the middle east, the nuclear terror by the global powers and a kind of "army of salvation" that are spreading prejudice and hate in Brazil.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Something like that haha, when we were composing the songs to the album, we thought "Ual, it doesn't sound like anything we did" and this is an awesome experience for us, and has multiple influences, by bands like Vio-lence, Violator and Suicidal Tendencies, but also original things on the songs, that you listen and think, this is Blackened!
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
We didn't record it yet, we are finishing the songs and playing in many towns releasing the EP, so in july we're gonna start the recordings, and in september/october we guess the CDs will be ready on Witches Brew.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
Actually, the artwork isn't finished yet, but our idea was to, since we have a close relationship with politics, we will try to show that maybe things are not always as we think, that perhaps there's always someone controlling and making profit with those ''war games''. Also, the lyrics focus on what we think and feel and have been talking about since the EP ''Underground Attack'': politics, religion, criticizing society, but also talking about thrash, staying wasted and the music we make.
What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We expect new people can listen to our stuff and after the release we want to play in a tour in Brazil and after it, we want to play in South America and Europe. The aims now is finish the songs to the new release and play how much we can.
Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
About it we don't know yet, we're gonna release 700 copies by Witches Brew. We received some proposes to release in digipak by other labels, but we prefer to wait, because first we want to release it by witches brew.
Where and how will you promote this new release?
We will promote it on facebook's page, on our label's page and on the bandcamp.
