Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band started in 2007 with a couple of friends playing covers in a garage (the usual). We then started to write our own songs and performing them live and building a fan base in our town. In 2010 we went in the studio for the first time to record EP "Reverence" which gained us more exposure and a wider audience. Then in 2012 we recorded our first full-lenght record "Tides of War" with big time producer Glen (Gwar, Queensryche,Voivoid,Annihilator) Robinson. This really helped us break through and get more press. The album was very well received and we played many shows and festivals with big name acts. In 2014 we we're the first Canadian metal to tour Cuba as part of the bi-annual BrutalFest ( we did the winter edition). After that the band had to re-organise due to line-up changes. Finding new members and getting them ready for the stage and to record a new album took some time but now we're back with our second full-lenght record "Ages Unsung" and we're ready to hit the road and bring the maelstrom to a city near you!

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We play a mix of melodic death metal, heavy metal and metalcore; all blended together for the right amount of headbanging and moshpits. We've been influences by such bands as In Flames, Trivium, Killswithc Engage, As i lay dying, Annihilator, Children of Bodom, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and lots of other old school rock/hard-rock bands. We try to mix-up all of our influences and create a sound that is ours.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
As stated above we bring a wide array of influences to the table so I'm confident any metalhead will find something to their liking. We believe the album to be a very strong statement of our abilities and that the production and sound quality of it can rival any "mainstream/signed" big band. With everything we do, we believe that quality is the most important factor and to be able to compete with major bands in such a wide market, it's a must. Give it a listen, we'll let our music do the talking.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
As of now we've released 2 lyric videos and album trailer we're you can listen to bits of songs from the whole record; plus we also have a music video on the way. Fans who participated in our Kickstarter crowdfunding campaing have also gotten their digital copy of the album already.  Reviews for the album are starting to come in and the response/feedback we've been getting so far is incredible. People are really digging the new songs and new elements we've incorporated thanks to the new members and the solidity of the album as a whole from front to back.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Of course we do and we believe we're damn good at it! It's been a while since our last show though, as we we're busy recording the new album and building everything for its release, but we're rehearsing very hard to bring the best rendition of our music to the stage but also give people a good show.  We're planning some consecutives tour dates for later this year but right now our 2 next gigs will be our album release show and then opening for Sonata  Arctica.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should be aware of us because we're a hard working, dedicated band with strong work ethics and we can deliver the goods. We have a great new album on our hands and we cant wait to share it with the world. Our sound is very marketable and is an honest representation of who we are; pationate and dedicated musicians who aren't affraid to get dirty and get the job done, no matter what it takes.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Well right now we're working/planning shows for the month of october, november and december. We want to bring our new music to as many people as we can; to show them we're back in full force and that we mean buisness. We believe very strongly in the new record and we'll work hard to get it out there in the hands and ears of people.
