Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Comaniac was finally formed in 2012 through the lineup completion with Doom (Lead Guitar) and Ray (Bass) after Jonas (Guitar, Voice) and Cédric (Drums) were jamming for already 2 years. Since the beginning the continuity of the Band was our strength! Constant lineup and continuous development in songwriting and live performance brought us to the point where we think every metal head should give us a listen. Wanna know why? …well, keep on reading ;)

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Comaniac delivers fresh, aggressive and pure metal! Everyone would consider us as an old school thrash metal band, so let it be this description of our style! It’s also the root of our song writing and spirit! We think you can hear this in our music even though we like every metal genre as long as it is creative, diversified and innovative. That’s what we wanna be and what we work on hard every day!

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Well, it’s your decision if you think the music is worth it to spend your money for. I mean nowadays we have to be happy if someone even takes his or her time to check us out by streaming or downloading. On the other side we highly appreciate it if someone says: “yes, these guys deserve it to be supported for their efford!” We love to hear any feedback to our music and what we do! But you have to know: if you want some fresh and authentic metal you need to get our debut album “Return To The Wasteland” right now! We’re youg, we want to be heard and we want to show you our passion! Unfortunately we can’t afford to play live in every living room around the world so get your dose of metal by getting that CD.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We released two demos in 2012 and 2013 which helped us getting some recognition in our local scene here in Switzerland. With our Debut Album “Return To The Wasteland” we really started the mania though! There were more than 40 magazines and webzines who reviewed and interviewed us so far and gave us a lot of positive feedback and recognition, which we really appreciate! Thanks to Pest Webzine at this occasion! I think this record really seems to stand out of the metal album masses released the last few months. Some even mentioned that this record might be difficult to top. So lets see but we’re sure that at least we can top it with a second release…

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We had some great shows for promoting our album after its release in February 2015 in Switzerland and also abroad. We might start a second wave of shows in October before we’ll be working on new material. But anyway: we’ll play any shows which we get because this is still the reason number one why playing in a metal band is the coolest thing on this earth!

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We like to have the control about everything we do! Sometimes it takes us a little longer to get to a decision or result as a band but we never regret a thing we do. So far we’re very happy with the development of the band. We always think about possibilities to step further on our way and there’s no stopping, too much energy in our metal heads!

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Playing shows and using every hour to write better music! This sound easy and not too innovative but believe me: that’s the most important thing for a band: playing shows to get you the thrills and the motivation, writing songs to find your style and your strength.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Give us a listen on soundcloud, bandcamp or youtube! You also find some nice videos and music clips there. Also check our facebook and homepage and write us your opinion to our music. If you wish to purchase a CD or tape: write us an e-mail so you’ll get your music directly by us!
