Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Deadspace was conceived in early 2015. In it's short, uninvited, foetal existence the band has already given birth to it's first abomination "The Promise Of Oblivion" with an accompanying visual interpretation for the track "I'll Buy The Rope"

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The drive behind the sound is raw emotion. Whether it be despair, aggression, irritation, hope, loss, etc.. The majority of our audience have suggested we resemble a DSBM/Goth Rock/Post Metal mexican breakfast. Comparative to bands such as Shining (Swe), Taake, Lifelover, Enslaved.. but also The Sisters Of Mercy, Katatonia, This Will Destroy You, Mogwai and Pink Floyd.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because streaming music is going to seriously limit the amount of bandwidth available for your late night porn sessions.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have just one terminally ill child "The Promise Of Oblivion". The doctors said they would let him live if we kept him in a cage. We then realised if we taught him how to juggle we could open up as a zoo and extort him. So far the reviews have been rather favourable and we are now thinking of trying again for number 2.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Still in our early stages but we have started playing locally and filling up our touring calendar for the rest of the year.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Deadspace is like an angsty child with a serious attitude problem. Nobody wants to know about it... but it's impossible to ignore a 3 year old in a supermarket screaming incoherently and throwing vegetables at you.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
When we grow up we want to be astronauts. Then eventually we will all die, some sooner than others.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
