Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Ensilenced is a Hard Rock/Metal band from West Monroe, LA. Formed from former members of Cynical, Ensilenced started up in early 2013 and hasn't stopped working hard since then.  With over 10 years of experience writing songs together, the music is only getting stronger.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Drawing influences from bands like Metallica, Testament, Trivium, Rammstein, Lamb of God, and Killswitch Engage, Ensilenced is hard-hitting and driving. We are a great mix between Thrash, Metalcore, and Nu-Metal.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
People should buy our music because we are different we don't sound like anything that is out there. We write music that is interesting to us.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
When our demo tracks came out in late 2013, people downloaded them constantly. We won best metal song in Louisiana in 2014 for our song Two Face. We've been featured on many different radio stations and have only gotten great reviews. We now have rerecorded songs from our demo and added quite a few more at much better quality for our loyal fans.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Live activity has been steady with at least one to two shows a week. We started our locally and continue to expand our gigging distance.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We are a band that doesn't adhere to the rules and regulations of what's right and wrong when it comes to music. We do what we find pleasing to the ear. We write lyrics about what speaks to us. We hope that people connect with what we write.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
As a band, we keep expanding our merch line and promotional capabilities. We continue to expand our touring circle. We keep picking up shows with bigger names in the business.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We are on several different social media sites, all of which will direct you where to buy the music or you can go to our bandcamp page. Hope you all enjoy.
