Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Brian: Back in 2004 we had the first lineup for Eternal Voyager, it consisted of only three members. Since then we have had a few lineup changes. This newest lineup is the fourth and probably the best. Through the years each member who has since come and gone brought something to the table and furthered the band along the way. Although we have previously only released demo's, the music hasn't changed too dramatically but some of our structure has evolved. We released our debut album in 2014 called "The Battle Of Eternity" We are currently recording our second album "In Darkened Times" Our current lineup consist of Micah Deveroux: Lead Vox, Brian Blake: Guitar and Vox, Mike Durenberger: Drums, Kurt Johnson: Guitars and Jeff Igelsrud: Bass

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Brian: Mainly we are European style Power Metal / Traditional Heavy Metal  but alot of influences from other styles of metal come into play in our music. Other people would say they hear alot of different things. I would have to say we sound the most like Iced Earth, Hammerfall, and Iron Maiden. But we still have our own style and sound.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Brian: If you love true or heavy power metal, we feel that we embody that sound to the core. But still we have an innovative direction that is different from most, we don't sound like your typical American heavy metal band. Most metalheads that hear us regardless of what genre they are into, find something within our music that they find to be quality especially live.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Brian: Our first demo was "The Holy Warrior EP" followed by a single with two different versions of the song "Vagabond" in 2014 as I had mentioned earlier was our debut "The Battle of Eternity". Our first album was received fairly well with very good reviews from most people who have heard it. We've done alot of radio and online interviews and have got alot of positive feedback over the last couple years, and it had helped to put us on the map

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Brian: Yes of course, since the debut album release and the new lineup, we have played alot of shows in our home state and surrounding states as well. We have played with alot of local bands and have opened for a multitude of international acts including: UDO, Alestorm, Lordi, and we are scheduled to open for Hammerfall and Evergrey this spring.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Brian: We have become a professional band and we have very quickly grown in our own city and state. we have also gotten alot of international attention through distribution and our live shows. our new album I believe will take us to the next level and really put us on the map. we believe the music will speak for itself.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Brian: Currently we are still working on our second album "In Darkened Times" which will be out sometime this spring, and we have some big shows coming up, and we are also doing a music video to accompany the album. We plan on making 2017 a very busy year of playing and promoting.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Brian: you can listen to any of our music on You Tube, as our cd and demos are on there as well as many live shows we have recorded. We are also available on itunes and Amazon. If people want to hear us we are very easy to find online, you can buy our album and merch from our website in our store at also like us on Facebook so you can stay up to date with our activity.
