Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band got together in 2007 however; it did not include the same bassist and singer as today. In fact the first album Tales From the Supermax has the original line up on it, but some of those tracks were redone on The Anomaly with a new sound and members.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
It`s a festival for the senses, particularly those looking for some fast paced technical death. But really, we think any real metal fan would like this. There are so many subtleties from a variety of metal genres stuck in there. Or if you`re really just looking for something that will make you wanna put your fist through the wall, this ought to get it done! There are so many bands to mention that influence us, but just a few the ball rolling you’re looking at anything along the lines of Arch Enemy, Unearth, Whitechapel, At The Gates, Mnemic, DevilDriver, Lamb Of God, Threat Signal, Soilwork, The Black Dahlia Murder
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Metal can be an outlet for intense emotions as much as it can be relaxing. The hooks and technical maelstrom that is [EVERTRAPPED] can actually be stimulating for so many areas of your senses just as much as the sheer brutality of it can’t help but make you want to lose your mind.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Prior to Under The Deep, [EVERTRAPPED] released Tales From The Supermax and The Anomaly. The 2012 release The Anomaly was what started grabbing people’s attention, which actually contains 4 tracks from the first album that were redone for The Anomaly. This album saw the production of the first music video for Enlightened By The Darkness Within, local and international press claiming The Anomaly to be an overall great album. And as a result some local press that would continue to come to [EVERTRAPPED] shows and would have the pleasure of reviewing the performances.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Mostly local but we have been branching out recently. Our live show has had an overhaul recently and is become an entertaining act to see. The biggest part of the live show will always be [EVERTRAPPED]’s presence on stage. If you want your crowd to move, you gotta move too!
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They need to know that we`re not likely to stop bothering everyone until we are assured that you have heard [EVERTRAPPED]. It’s mature and dark. It’s metal that makes you wanna pick it apart on every level but you can`t stop going crazy listening to it.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
The next year will really be all about Under The Deep and everything that comes along with it. We may have a few other little surprises in store, but you`ll have to wait and see for those.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
