Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We are an italian progressive metal band, born in Rome in 2015 from a Alex De Angelis idea, who proposed his project to Marco Del Bufalo (Sumera’s singer), and other members who are still not in the line-up for some different events that brought our band to several line-up changes, before taking the current mark.
It was during the making of our  first album that we fixed finally the line-up, with Danilo Petrelli (Graal‘s keyboardist) and Cristiano Ruggiero (Graal’s drummer) additions.
The EP after being recorded, unfortunately, was completely lost due to a mistake of the sound engineer, so we was forced to re-record it in a new studio, led by Danilo Petrelli.

How could you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We try to blend in our songs  the musical background of each member of the band.
Alex was a tenor, Marco is the singer of a grind/hardcore band (Sumera), Miki is a black metal fan, Danilo loves 70s prog and Cristiano is a real 70s hard rock drummer and bothe comes from the italian band Graal.
For sure we are influenced by King Crimson, Opeth, Pain of salvation, Genesis, ELP and many other famous prog band.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/album?
We find our album interesting with a good mix of past prog and modern sound.
They can find the combination of typical elements of heavy metal, hard rock, progressive and psychedelic music through our songs that call back 70’sounds going by dark atmospheres to acoustic melodies.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
This is our first release as From the dust returned and both the public and the media are receiving very well our ep. One thing that we understand is that it’s not simple to understand this album with the first listening. To appreciate all the elements and all the continuous changes of atmospheres in it the public need the second or sometimes the third listening.

Do you play live as well? How’s your live activity so far?
With this band we decide to play not live waiting the second release. We prefer to concentrate to the song writing and the studio recording to have the new album.
But in the meanwhile all the members have different live activity with other bands (Sumera, Graal, A.E.M).

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We think that the first thing necessary to know is that the music in our albums is our way to write and play songs, this is our identity. We don’t do this for a target, but this is our way and maybe could change a little bit in the next album and then in the next.
We want to show always in each songs our personality, if just ten people like our music it means that we write songs in a way for just ten people if we like to more than ten people it means that we play for more than ten people. We don’t reach a large public, we’d like to have a large public, but first of all we reach the way to write and play our music.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
First of all we have to care about this debut ep, to understand what this album leave to us and the people then we are working on our second album yet. It’s written and we’re recording the principal lines to work to the arrangements and understand which kind of album we will have.
But we have also a little surprise for our friends and our fans for the end of this year, we can’t talk about this!
