Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
The songs are reflecting life from our eyes and influential stories from around us. It's all quite personal really. Ofcourse that translates and becomes everyone's stories after a while. That's the cool thing about songs.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
It's rock music. Modern to some extent. A mix of Classic rock .. Metal with grunge and prog elements.
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
It was recorded in two studios. Mainly Blackdog Studios in Atlanta US and ORS studios in Brighton UK. The tracking and mixing and mastering was about a month in time.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The art is by Matt Vickerstaff and yes there is a link. The whole atmosphere is rather desolate. Songs are about people .. Us. Our worlds and the stories and influence around us.
What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Well ... Firstly it's nice to get it out to the fans that want it. And then hopes to move forward and gain more fans for Furyon alongside touring and promotion.
Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
It's released digitally and CD psychical form. We are toying with the idea of vinyl too as a collectors edition.
Where and how will you promote this new release?
We promote everywhere possible!
Where can we order it from?
iTunes, Amazon and most popular online outlets. Also HMV
Thank you for the interview, Matt Mitchell
