Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Hauser is a grindcore band formed in 2007 by Johnny Loewen, Fábio Ronchi, Jean Andrighi and Eduardo Graciano (RIP). United by the taste for extreme music and the will to explore new sounds. We started with 6 members and today we are a quartet: vocal, guitar, bass and drums. We are from the south of Brazil, where our style is not very well known and appreciated.
Fábio Ronchi - bass
Jean Andrighi - vocals
Johnny Loewen - guitar
Roger Loss - drums
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We started with a hardcore sound and gradually we explored death and grindcore. We like Japanische Jampfhörspiele, Nails, Rotten Sound, Slayer, Pig Destroyer and Napalm Death.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We're music fans. And we make our sound because we like it!
We recently released a single called Process Bokanovsky. It was highly praised and is part of our new sound.
The release can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=uaLUTuITmRs
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have a full, which we recorded in 2009. We independently launched in 2011. The band had a hiatus (2012 to 2014) and, with a new formation, we had a productive 2015. We released an EP 7 "and a Single, which can be heard in our bandcamp: http://hauser.bandcamp.com/
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes! This year, even with a lot of time in the studio and releases, we played a lot! And we played with several bands that we like: Test (BR), Paura (BR), Mukeka di Rato (BR), Facada (BR), Institution (BR), Beast (PT), No Turning Back (NL) and Coke Bust (US).
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We have a very energetic, aggressive and fast show. We love to play and meet people! To know more about our show: https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=WY1PJfl7rjs
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are planning a Europe tour in 2017! A long time we want to play there!
