Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
It is a massive leap musically, from our last release. We’ve improved and evolved on each our instrument and the record is a testament to that. The tracks are more diverse. I’m sure it will be welcomed with open arms. During the writing period, I listened a lot to King Diamond and Mercyful Fate and also Overkill and Testament, while being greatly inspired by the fantastic Phantom Antichrist by Kreator. I think we covered what we wanted to do at the time, so I am very satisfied with the record. I’d rather look ahead than waste time on what we could have done different. It’s important to constantly absorb experience, live, studio and rehearsal, so that the next record will be fresh sounding.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
It is thrash metal, Impalers style. You might have heard something similar, but we put our personal touch on every track. We might even crush some prejudges against thrash. We’ve got a few atypical motifs on the record and fits us fine.
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
Death Island Studio, Marco Angioni at the helm. 30 days, with 7-10 hours every day. Mr. Angioni’s daughter contributed to the album. She was 6 years old at the time.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
I hope, when people listen to the record, they will read the lyrics and look at the artwork. The connection should be evident. The topic is religion, and they who pay for its flaws.
What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Fame and fortune! The record should get our collective shoes inside the door of touring Europe, which is our dream. Right now, we aim at the world, with a gun loaded with metal and grits. We’ve given our all several times to the band, and we don’t intend on not doing that.
Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
Digital and physical CD’s! As much as we want to release on vinyl, it is still not a top priority...but there are talks here and there.
Where and how will you promote this new release?
Social media, webzines, interviews...we’re also gonna play at a showcase event in Norway some time.
Where can we order it from?
