Infinite Regress Records. Brisbane based, run by Lindon Faynes and Steve Tasker

Started back in November 2010, the label was run by myself(Lindon) and a good friend, Zeke Ferrington(Disciples of Torture). Signed a few Australian acts such as Iconic Vivisect(VIC) and Five Finger Disintegrator(SA), the latter released a free promo CD through us and the former released an MCD titled "Breeding Atrocity". Shortly after, Zeke decided to part ways with IRR. I continued to run IRR, releasing an EP for Habitual Defilement and the full length CD for Whoretopsy. Shortly after I ran into Steve Tasker at a local metal show and asked him if he would like to jump in and help out with the label. Steve has become a very essential part of IRR.

Each release is strongly recommended and as a growing label we will continue to release killer metal. Our next release is "Human Factory" by Nakka. Nakka are a female-fronted Russian Death-grind band. The album is currently being pressed and should be available for purchase soon!

Our main rule with signing bands is that if it doesn't make the hairs on your neck stand up then it's not worth signing into. We never sign bands based on trends or gimmicks. 

We look for hard working bands, bands that are willing to put in %100 effort to each release they do through us. We have turned down several bands due to what we felt was a lack of professionalism in their music and attitude. Above all if your music is killer and it stands out from the mediocre then we'll be more then happy to represent them.

IRR is fairly rooted in Death Metal but we don't stick with the one genre. We'll gladly support any underground artist as long as the music is good.

If you wish to submit your band, here is the best way of attaining our interest.

Write a small but detailed Biography of the band you are submitting.

Attach your logo, artwork and songs in folder (If you have physical CD's we can provide you an address).

Have links to your facebook/myspace/reverbnation/bandcamp etc also links to any reviews you may have.

We make great bonds with our bands but keep a professional attitude with all label aspect. Regardless how well we get along personally with certain bands, we never treat any band better then the next. Each band on IRR is treated equally.

We cover printing costs for CD's. The band gets an amount of CD's sent to them, once we make back from printing costs the band will receive a cut. We trade with other underground record labels and this helps getting more people showing interest in the label and it's roster. 

We also have contacts with distribution companies and this gets IRR products into stores. 

We have a killer shirt design for the label and we would love to print and sell it. 

So far, we've had several signings. Each band just as awesome as the next, all I can say now is keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming releases!
