Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band formed around 12-13 years ago in Ottawa. I don’t know anything because I’ve only been there for 5 years. There has been an incredible amount of member changes in this band that it would take me years to get into.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We are a Technical Deathmetal band, but with so much more. Deicide, Spawn of Possession, Jason Becker, Poison…A lot.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because its something you’ve never heard, and what kind of metalhead doesn’t want to listen to something new.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Killitorous has released and album called Party, Grind back in 2014 which they had a really good response to, but then things slowed down and members we’re changing and it was kind of hard to stay on top. But I believe we now have the perfect lineup to release this new album called The Afterparty.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We play live as much as we can, we’ve been all over Canada and we’re planning of getting out on this album cycle.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We are a band based on having tons of fun and partying and laughing with your friends.
That’s it. We’re crazy, we want to hang out, have some fun. We don’t try to have this whole “heavy/mean” classic deathmetal image. We like tie-dye and slush puppie.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Release this album. Play a ton of shows. Release more music. And get better at our craft every time.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Every major streaming platform has Party, Grind and will have The Afterparty once it’s out (May 7th). You can also pre-order the album and buy any piece of merch we have here: www.killitorous.bigcartel.com
