Title: Demo I
Label: Total Darkness Propaganda
Style: Ambient Black Metal
Not sure if this one man project has any future at all for the sole reason these two tracks were written in 2009, recorded in 2016 and released 2 years after, so it's not like there's any major interest for the man behind this project to release his music, or at least that's the impression this situation gives me. we're treated here with 2 long tracks of Ambient Black Metal: mid-tempo rhythms with occasional fast paced ones where eerie and excellent mood-builder keyboards blend in with simple drums, melancholic and cold guitar riffs, upfront bass lines (maybe too upfront) and ghoulish screams in the background plunging into brutal and fast paced Black Metal passages at times. I'd say Botoond did a very good job creating a sinister and visceral atmosphere, cold to the bone and at times melancholic also, so all in all I really hope he will release something new with this project in the future, or else we can check his other project, Hold, too. Released in professional tape format limited to 200 copies by TDP.
