Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Band MOROR was created by drummer Dmitry Shcherbina and guitarist Artyom Khardin in 2006 in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 2010 first single "Cross of Time" was recorded, and it was distributed only on Internet. Just at the beginning of 2012 the line-up finally stabilized and that year our band recorded a new single "I Don’t Want", also the style of music has changed, becoming more progressive and melodic. We came back to the studio to record a full-length album and in spring of 2013 Moror signed contract with Metal Scrap Records. The album "Abyss" was released in August by Another Side Records (a division of Metal Scrap Records).  Current Line-up : Dmitriy Shcherbina – drums, Artyom Khardin – guitar, Arcadiy Shablya – guitar, Alexandr Turik – bass, Artur Sharko – vocal

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style was influenced by music of such famous bands as Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Periphery, Meshuggah, Born of Osiris, etc. and it could be described as harsh, uncompromised and gloomy.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because MOROR represents high-grade musical material which is independent of any recent trends.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Long interval between our releases was caused by absence of constant line-up and regular changes of members of the band damaged releasing a full-length album. Releases were promoted via Social Networks, supporting tours were also organized as well as there was signed a contract with the Label.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We attend live concerts quite often plus we organize tours in support of our releases.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
MOROR introduces music of peculiar metal-style from new European country.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Currently we’ve abandoned our autumn tour in order to compose new material.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can listen to our band on Social Networks and on our YouTube Channel as for purchasing the album you can contact the label ( because it is in charge of sales or directly from the label on-line store: .
