Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We’re NERVOCHAOS and we were formed in September 1996. We’re from Sao Paulo, Brazil. We have 7 albums out, 3 demo-tapes and 3 DVDs. We are not afraid of touring or performing live and we have shared the stage with acts such as VENOM, POSSESSED, KREATOR, D.R.I., CANNIBAL CORPSE, KRISIUN, DISMEMBER, VULCANO, CENTURIAN and many more to list. We’re a four-piece band and our latest album is called “The Art of Vengeance” and came out thru Cogumelo in Brazil and Grey Haze in the USA.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We’re an extreme music band that has influences ranging from traditional Death Metal to Thrash/Black Metal with some Grind core elements added to it. We have several influences but I could mention acts like NAPALM DEATH, CANNIBAL CORPSE, INCANTATION, BENEDICTION, SLAYER and others.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
I think a true metal head should check it out at least. We’re not inventors of the wheel but we surely keep it turning. We do only what we like and we hope people understand and enjoy it, but it’s not possible to please everybody.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have released 7 albums (6 studio album and 1 live album), 3 demo-tapes and 3 DVDs. The media and public received very well all our releases, but we can easily notice that the band is growing up and getting better feedback on each release. Most important for us is being well received by the public and that we enjoy what we’re doing.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes, we constantly play live. This year we’ll reach 100 shows in one year. We tour around Europe and Latin America mostly, but we’ve played in India once and we hope to reach the US and Asia too and always return there.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should see that we’re a hard working band, constantly touring and releasing material and if our music pleases them, get in touch with us and let’s work something out.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We’ll continue touring during 2015, promoting our latest release. Also we want to do a few more music videos and re-release our 1st and 2nd album. Besides that, we’ll be part of the BATHORY tribute and hopefully we can also release a few 7” split.
