Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
"Seventh Calling first came out into the original scene with our debut album 'Monuments' in 2007 and have continued to progress with our follow up 'Epidemic' and now our 3rd full length album 'Battle Call'.   The group has gone through member changes over the years since the beginning. But the current line-up is myself Steve Handel, vocals and guitars, Mike 'Basswalker' Walters, Vocals and Bass guitars and Chad Pliska, Vocals and drums/percussion.  Myself and Walters have been in a couple of different projects over the years and Chad has always been playing in other groups around our scene here also over those years.  So when this opportunity to have all of us in Seventh Calling together arose, it made good sense to all of us.  I am very happy with the direction we are going personally".

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
"I would describe our style as heavy metal in the traditional style such as Priest, Metal Church, Tony Martin era Sabbath just to name a few of the bands over the years that fall into the styles that create our latest album Battle Call.  The biggest influences I feel are Priest, Maiden, Metal Church, Vicious Rumors, Dio, Saxon, Grim Reaper and so on are some of the bands that have influenced over the years".

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
"Because if you are a true fan of heavy metal and well written material you will be satified completely with any album that you will purchase from Seventh Calling".

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
"Our releases have been so far:
MONUMENTS(Full length) released through Melissa Records 2007
PRELUDE TO MADNESS EP released through Heaven and Hell Records 2009
EPIDEMIC(Full Length) released through Heaven and Hell Records 2010
BATTLE CALL(Full Length) self released 2016
These releases have been received well over the time and we have been happy with the results so far".

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
"Yes we play live fairly regular and our activity has been very good so far".

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
"My opinion would be that the group has had longevity and had continued to forge ahead with releases through different changes since the beginning and also that Seventh Calling is also a call to traditional heavy metal which is hard to find in alot of places anymore without looking very hard for it".

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
"For the near future we have planned to continue working in our new drummer Chad Pliska and get ready for performing new original material which will follow up our current release BATTLE CALL and to rock the minions at all of our shows coming up"!

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
"You can listen to and purchase the albums and cds, shirts and patches pretty much everywhere online including Amazon, Youtube mp3s, Facebook band profile, Reverbnation, CD Baby, and much much more.  For direct purchase from the band themselves the direct link is
