Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
Hi everyone! This is our first release and it’s an 6 tracks EP. We based the whole work on the psychological aspect of 4 main american serial killers. We read books and interviews about them, in order to catch the mental sickness instead of just the gore or violent stuff. So it’s not a concept album, but it of course has a main theme that link the songs together. It’s an overused idea in extreme music, we know, but we want to give our point of view about it. Speaking about the release itself, we are quiet happy with the final release! It’s our first one, so we had still a lot to learn, but with can’t complain about that! We think it’s a pretty agressive work!

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Oh, we hope to surprise some listeners! But we think the main genre of the music is groove metal/ death metal, with some thrashy and alternative vibes in it. We try to build our own style. We like to experiment, so we can feel free to change our musical aims, although for the moment, we play metal (at least we try to do our best, hahaha).

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
We recorded it in Italy, because yes, we are from Italy! At the “NoLogo Studio” near our city “Bolzano”. For what concerned the recording time, we took 5 days, but the composing process was way more long. It took us almost one year, including the making of our second music video “Dead Tool”, and all daily life activities like jobs, universities studies eccetera. About the recording everything goes fine, the problem was writing the lyrics. As we told, we have to find documentations about the killers in order to write accurate lyrics, and we got crazy. We saw real interviews and photos of the crimes scenes that were really sick, so that kind of stuff was quiet disturbing, haha. But yeah, it has been done.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork has been a struggle. It took us some time to decide what we really wanted to have. The main idea came from the mind of our bass player, and he has created it, as well as our logos and layouts. Although we decide the graphic stuff all together. So the woman on the CD cover, is a sort of “horn goddess” and we wanted something mysterious, that is unclear if she is a sort of goddess or just a victim. And  we wanted something a little bit creepy too. Of course it’s related with the theme of the killers, who were mysterious and ambiguous. With the lyrics we try to give a view of the world of each one of the killers (Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed Gein, Ted Bundy and Charles Manson) and of their emotions. Some of them felt guilty others just have compulsive tantrum, but the lonelyness and sense of abandoning of this mentally sick killers, is a recurring theme in the lyrics.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We just wanted to play honest music and comunicate it to the public. We wanted people to jump, scream and bang their heads at our concert. Having a fanbase, wethever is it small or big, it’s a gratificant thing for every artist we think. With this first work, we just wanted to do as many concerts we can (although we still miss a regular drummer, haha).

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
We have our BandCamp account, where you can find both digital and physical copies of the EP “Wise Murders & Natural Evil”. We printed 150 copies, but we also have, T-Shirts and patches. Check it out ;) .

Where and how will you promote this new release?

Put some likes to our facebook page for any kind of news! Any type of support has a lot of meaning for us!
