Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
It all started out with Simon and me jamming along metallica tunes in the 10.th grade. We were extremly shitty at the time (Me more then simon) but we felt that there is something. Although it took us long enough to form a solid band, we are more then happy with the constellation. I gave up guitar playing and Markus new on Guitar really took the string section to the next level. Also I was able to concentrate on my singing and my performance. We are very lucky with our drummer Tobi who is also very talented on the Piano. He also writes a huge amount of the music and gives it a classical touch. We also have a highly motivated bass player namened Andreas who is on the one hand motivated and on the other hand not a guitarist who is forced to play bass. Two very rare attributes for a bass player.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
It´s a very unique style. We try to combine Classic, Thrash and Progressive Metal. Our overall goal is  to create something we can call our own Style. It is very hard to say wich bands have influenced us the most because every one of us has different tastes in music. Of course there are Bands like JUDAS PRIEST or GOJIRA we all love but every memeber has his own genre.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because it is something new. Nowadays you have so many bands releasing albums that are already existing. Maby some people won´t like it but at least they never heard it before.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
The EP ASTORIA wich was released on 19. January was our first public release. It took us quite a while to write and finish this debut EP but we are quite happy with the outcome. The reactions we recived so far are overwhelming. We were compared to the american prog thrash masters VEKTOR a few times, wich is a total honour and a little bit to much ;)

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We already have a pretty tight schedule until april. Playing Live is really important for us. Nobody is born a good live act and you can only practice that on stage. We are really looking forward to this year since we never played so many shows before.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
In the end it´s the courage to mix new elements together that makes us special - Different styles, different techniques you have never heard on the same record before. These special compositions will bring great pleasure for metal-enthusiats and music lovers all around the world.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Play as much as we can. And when we arent playing live writing new stuff so we can start the recording process for Album or EP #2 in late 2017 .

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can get our music on spotify, deezer, google, amazon etc. or can buy it physically on our bandcamp site: www.sweepingdeath.bandcamp.com
