Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Were from the mountains of North Carolina. Micah(Guitars and vocals) started the band in 2005 and had a few lineup changes until Jason(drummer) met up with him and started playing together and have been the core of the band ever since. We started out as a 4 piece but changed to 3 piece when we couldn't find a singer we thought fit the band. Metalcore was huge at the time so everyone wanted to imitate that. It wasn't what we were looking for so Micah took over singing duties and never looked back. We've had a few bassists along the way and currently Chad Barnwell has been holding the low end down for us for around a year now.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Definately Stoner/doom with elements of thrash, classic and power metal thrown in. So many bands influence us but if i picked the top five for our sound it would be Sabbath, Maiden, The Sword, Amon Amarth and Grand Magus.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We don't try to be anything pretentious. We love writing songs and playing them to live audiences. It comes from the heart. Every metalhead loves a mighty riff!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our first album was as a 4 piece called "No time to die". It was pretty bad so we ignore it completely now. Our next EP was "Destruction of Another Dimension". It opened some doors for us but we quickly recorded our "Warmallet EP soon after and that got us some good out of town offers. Couple years later we did our first recording in a real studio and recorded the "Legends of the Tusk EP. We've been riding the coat tails of that for about 4 years and just recently we recorded our newest album Skulthor Ebonblade, which is a concept album about a character we made up called Skulthor Ebonblade and his quest to defeat evil using evil. Alot of norse undertones in it. We really love it.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We do play live as much as we can. We've probably got over 100 shows under our belt playing around the region for last 10 years or so.  We've got to open for some really awesome bands such as Iced Earth, Night Demon and Black Tusk as well as some pretty big regional bands. Last year we tried our hand setting up our first metal fest call Steel and Stone Festival. It was a pretty good turnout.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We really want to get our music out to as many ears as we can. We think we have quality music that has a lot more weight and substance than most of the mainstream cookie cutter bands that get all the attention from press today.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Promote the new album heavily! As many airwaves, press interviews like this one and live shows as possible! Hopefully some cool fests will be in the cards as well.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Our previous 2 EP's are available at  The new album will be as well on March 10. Also we have a Youtube channel with a song off the new album called "Lair of the Gorgon Queen" and some live videos at and our facebook page at
Thanks for the opportunity to promote our music. We really do appreciate it!
