Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
“Sweet Hollow” is about the Journey of a man who loses his family and continues onward to only encounter more pain and suffering. Each track is a chapter of “Sweet Hollow”. “Sweet Hollow” as a whole is only one part of a multipart series.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Sounds similar to King Diamond. Some have said THEM sounds like King Diamond meets Slayer meets Megadeth.
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
“Sweet Hollow” was recorded in various studios around the world. It was mixed and mastered at flatlineaudio.com by Dave Otero. The entire record took several months to record and about a few weeks to mix. Some of the most interesting times were when all the voice overs were recorded. We all had a great time that day.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The cover art was drawn by vancekelly.com. Yes, the artwork depicts the tale of “Sweet Hollow” unfolding in the hands of the narrator/main character of the story Klaus Konig Fossor or KK Fossor for short. This tale starts in Europe and ends in NY around the 1800s. KK Fossor loses his family in the beginning and flees to NY and becomes the caretaker of Sweet Hollow Cemetery. There he befriends 2 children who play in the cemetery each day. Ultimately one of the children become possessed by one of the evil spirits that inhabit the cemetery then it will be up to KK Fossor to try and use his abilities to save the child. Is he successful? You will have to purchase the album to find out…
