Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band was formed in 2014. The members all come from different bands playing different style of music and wanted to start a heavy thrash band. We are all in our 40s, Old school thrashers. So the chops will be familiar.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I would say alot of bands influence our playing, but they don’t all come out apparently in the music. I’d say the most apparent are Slayer and Entombed, but each band member would site a different band as an influence from Bad Brains, to Dead Horse to Carcass, through Sound Garden and local bands we all enjoy like Voivod , Kataklysm and Obliveon.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
A metalhead should buy our EP because it’s solid metal. it’s te type of metal you can get excited about. It’s good all the good elements of classes old school with a good angry vibe.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We all have other projects in the Montreal music scene and our music has always been well received and supported by true supporter of metal. Promoting our music has been hit in miss in the past. But we are very confident about this projet.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We do play live and are actually shopping for management as we speak. Our focus is local for now and we will see what the future holds for us.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should know that the members have collectively played in over 15 different projects varying from Doom metal, to Stoner rock, to Bunglesque projects, punk, and thrash. So your getting a bunch of solid players in the same room throwing a lot of interest ideas around. It makes for strong songwriting, which we hope people will like.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
I think for now we want to tour locally, but are open to the idea of brooding out if the stars align. If not, we are content writing songs and putting them out. This is kind of a weekend warrior band. The guys get along great, we have a good time and we enjoy what we are writing.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Itunes, Spotify, BandCamp, SoundCloud and CDs which can be purchased from the band members at shows.
