How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The band's music can be described as Progressive Extreme metal.
Winterhorde's main inspirations are Prog rock bands like Queen,Pink Floyd or King Crimson and extreme metal bands such as Emperor and Arcturus. Moreover, the ban's music is inspired by old soviet cinema soundtracks from seventies, French chanson and Balkan folk music.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
The band has worked very hard during it's career. We spend thousands of euros on recordings, producers, mastering engineers and artists just to give the people music that they actually like. Buying the albums is showing appreciacion to the band.If no one buys it, it means the band should not do a new music anymore and the whole industry will die.No one has to work for free.We deliever music in high quaility recordings, our covers are looking great. The music itself is a matter of personal taste, but we don't see a problem with it as well.We love our music and we sure you will love it as well when you hear it, read the lyric and hold the cd in your hands.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We released one demo "In Traditions of Winter" (2004) and two long plays: Nebula (2006) and Underwatermoon (2010). All the release got plenty of great reviews.
This May, our newest album "Maestro" is going to be released and we're sure, it will be our best album to date. "Antipath", the first single ffrom this album has already got brilliant feedbacks.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes, we play live, we're doing it since 2002. We played three times already in Europe, supporting such bands as Catamenia (FIN) and shared the stages with W.A.S.P, Amorphis, Satyricon and many more..
Our next show is scheduled to May 21, in Haifa, Israel where we will be celebrating the release of our new album "Maestro"

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Well, label, zines and promoters should know know that we're hard working band. We love our music and do it with passion, even now after 15 years. We have our own unique style. We make conceptual albums and there are two great lead vocalists. We also use different musical instruments on records and on stage which you don't see every day in a metal concert. So, I think we're quite interesting expirience.Haha.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We plan to do an European tour with some great band this fall. In May we're going to shoot the new video clip from the new album and play a lot of local gigs to promote the release and have fun. After the tour we're planning to concentrate on writing our fourth album or EP.
