Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We formed in 2011 whilst we were all playing in other bands. Almost 10 years later, we're still going strong!
Jason Higson - Guitars
Clarence Wandren Albatross - Bass
Jack Owen - Drums
Scott Tabone - Vocals
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We call our style SLUDGERIDDENDOOM. As a band we are influenced by the likes of Bongzilla, Church of Misery, Clagg, Sabbath, Sourvein etc
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
If you like heavy riffs, you'll love us!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Maggot EP - 2012
Capitolo Due EP - 2012
Minions (single) - 2014
Ativan & Whiskey (single) - 2014
Discharge of Conformity (covers EP) - 2017
Neither Man Nor Beast (album) - 2017
No Sympathy for a Rat EP - August 2020
All of our releases have been well received. We started with the intention of only releasing Eps 7 singles, however people wanted an album, so we did that in 2017. We are reverting back to EPs & singles now as we feel that EPs work better for the genre that we play.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We exist to play live! We have toured all over Australia with so many great bands fro Australia & overseas - Conan, Black Cobra, Jucifer, Kylesa, Monarch, Witchskull, Pod People, Clagg etc ... we will be playing a slew of shows in support of our new EP.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We're a sludge-ridden-doom machine from Sydney Australia who exist to play live & destroy eardrums!
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Playing lots of shows to support the release of 'No Sympathy for a Rat' in August, then back to working on more new songs. We already have a few completed songs ready to go.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
