Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Zora is a brutal death metal band screaming its extreme hate from Southern Italy. The band born in 2003 and with first cd-demo Dismembered Human Race, reprint in 2004 by Eyes of Dead productions (ITA), shoot its first scream of extreme repulsion for all those attitudes and for all those people who day after day bastardizes every sphere and aspect of the human world ... therefore a new work, U.V.A. (Undisciplined Violent Aggression), out in 2005 for Malicious Intent Records (U.S.A.), a mini-cd composed by new six songs and prod again, like the previous, at Sound Farm Studio (Italy). In 2009 is out a new split cd called 4 Ways To Scream Your Hate and one year later the austrian label Bloodred Horizon Record releases their first full-length cd called Gore, composed by ten new songs. Now, after some line up changes and after two single called Slave of Mind in 2011 and Abracadacab in 2014, Zora with Gianluca Molè on guitar, Giampiero Serra on drums and Tat0 on vox and bass is ready with another new full length called Scream Your Hate, nine song of pure extreme rage.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Certainly Death Metal, but we listen mainly extreme metal in general, from brutal death metal like Cannibal Corpse to many thrash metal and black metal bands; We don’t know how and if we are influenced by anyone in particular, but we play extreme metal.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
To have fun vent and headbanging doing, but also to listen to its message, it is very important to us that the our music bring along a message, music is communication, and it is written and played as such.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
The first demo, called Dismembered Human Race, was released in 2004 by Eyes of Dead Productions (ITA); in 2005 is out a new mcd called U.V.A., for Malicious Intent Records (U.S.A.), in 2010 the first full length called Gore, out for BloodRed Horizon Records (AU), and today in 2011 we have a new full lengt called Scream Your Hate, self released.
We always had a good feedback with the guys and with the media, sincere and affectionate, fun and simplicity are the fundamental when you make music.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We had the pleasure and the fortune to make various lives around, even out Italy and with awesome bands … direct contact with people is unique, a real exchange of emotions.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We are available to all initiatives which bring benefit to both parties, we have already worked with various labels and many zines, without ever having any problems, we are not looking for fame or success, but we respect and want to be respected.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We have just published the new full length and now we are introducing around it, we will think to some live and to keep on always making new songs, nothing still of defined, but developing
