Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire to release new EP
CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE Announce New 10" EP and Tour Dates

Denver-based funeral grinders CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE have announced they will release a new EP, "Visceral," via Prosthetic  on July 19.  "Visceral" has six tracks and will be available digitally and on 10-inch vinyl, limited to 500 pieces. Pre-order the vinyl now.  The track, "Lower Than Life, High As The Sky" -- about which MetalSucks gushes, 'It's the aural equivalent of having a cheese grater run along your most sensitive parts. You're gonna love it" -- is streaming on their Facebook page now . The band has also announced a batch of new tour dates; check them out in the "on tour" section.

CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE formed and released "Harmonies From Bleeding Mouths," an EP, in 2006, and their first full-length, "Omega Drunk On The Blood Of Alpha" in 2008 on Debello Recordings. Their Prosthetic debut, "Songs of Ill Hope and Desperation," which was recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter), was released last year. Decibel Magazine gave the album a 9 out of 10 and called it "pure, cold-blooded grind."
