Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We are a five piece band from Würzburg/Germany which was founded in 2012. After releasing our first EP „Lay My Memories To Rest“ we had several line-up changes and played shows with Bands like „Agrypnie“, „Der Weg Einer Freiheit“ and "Heretoir". In 2014 we found our final line-up and recorded our first full length record „The Bleakness“ in collaboration with Nikita Kamprad.
We know each other for a long time from different bands in our hometown and so it was quite natural to form a band.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We play Post-Metal anchored in melody with equal measures of Black Metal and Hardcore influences. This mixture creates a melancholic and oppressive ambiance which changes between blastbeats, mid-tempo parts and clean riffs. All our bandmembers have different musical backgrounds, so our muscial influences are quite various and reach from Pop to Black Metal. Overall other Post Metal Bands like Devil Sold His Soul, Cult of Luna or Pelican are the biggest influence for us.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
As "headbangerreviews" already mentioned in a review about our new record "The Bleakness" our music is  a little different than your everyday metal. But you should find out for yourself and give it a try. You can get your first impression with our music video to the song "Avoid The Light".

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far we have only released a 6-track ep called "Lay My Memories To Rest" which was published by ourselves. We got a lot of good feedback for this and can't wait to show everyone our first full length record "The Bleakness" and get some new opinions.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Of course we also play live and we really dig it. As already mentioned we played shows / open airs with great bands like „Agrypnie“, „Der Weg Einer Freiheit“ and "Heretoir". We are planing more shows and open airs this year for example with bands like "Oathbreaker" and "Downfall of Gaia". Really looking forward to those concerts.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should know about our new 10 track album released by Bastardized Recordings, our live experiences and that we are highly motivated to get our music out there.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
As we already said, our near-future plans are definitely booking shows and promoting our first full length record. We will also release a second music video soon which will give you a closer insight into our production process.
