Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
BizarrOtural was created and founded by the lone artist "Ghost Wolf", especially after some positive and negative strange events made in several musical projects, during his school period, in his personal life, etc. These things have marked his state of mind. So he has finally decided to explain his stories and evacuate his emotions and personal feelings within this young project.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I describe the music style as a "Bizarre / Psychotic / Mysterious / Metal". For me it's a personal style that nobody can't know. If there are a copy of the sound where the musical genre by some persons, you'll know of where it is coming. There are no music bands who have inspired this project. Not even visually like video games, movies etc. Inspiration Like these things are for the easy, commercial and bad artist who needs to discover other worlds to copy these ones for success. I mean, transcribe the ideas of other authors and transform them into an innovation is zero. Inside me it's different : I create via my imagination and this is the big challenge to writing it. At least on the design. This is why I will probably draw and paint myself some Art Work for one future special album because no graphic designer do never understand what I want. I'm a Creative Artist since my youth and in my country, a lot of peoples are so jealous and wants to thieve my personality. That's funny.. *laugh*
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
I am not forcing anyone to buy my music. At least not the first works. The album released via Bandcamp is a launch to the process, where a pre-listening instrumental to discover the world that I propose. The time that the peoples come in exploring the bizarre and Paranormal world of BizarrOtural, I prepare the CD version of this first album named "Looking In A Mask" with a studio based on Montreal. There will be some newest things (Lyrics, sing, new atmosphere, new instruments ..). Also in answering to these questions, I'm currently writing some new tracks for a future second album there.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Just the first album via bandcamp named "Looking In A Mask". Like I say, it is still a young project to see more far but I'm just very proud to hear that the reviews are so positive by them. Considering this metal like a "Creative Metal" and probably a new metal style around the world is just fantastic for me. I imagine their thoughts about the "Looking In A Mask" CD Version + future album to come. This is just the beginning at all. *dark laugh*
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
I don't play live because It is still a one lone man project. I have in plan to find the best musicians for the futures BizarrOtural stages, but here it's the step of track-lists + set-lives. My live activity is positive I have too much things to do on the side-projects and preparing new creative projects to come. I'm ready to show where are the true artists who are copied by fake-artists for commercial money, popularity and success in this crap modern world. Ready to show the original sources and kill the plagiats / copies without ideas and personalities.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Because I'm preparing for a long continuity, where for a long live on this project and also because it will be a future band on stage as soon that I find the musicians for. BizarrOtural is full of creativity and this is only the beginning for everything.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Generaly, I improvise my feelings on everything. First of all, the group will work on the visual aspect. I can not let more info for the moment.
