Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Chiral is actually a one-man band, so I’m the only one who writes, plays and does stuff for this project.
I started back with Chiral in early 2014 with a demo called “Winter Eternal”. Looking back it was so different to what I play today, but it was where everything got started.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I think it’s easier to tell my influences instead of trying to describe the style and what does my music sound like.
So, Wolves In The Throne Room and Opeth are two of my most influential acts ever. I’m also very influenced by Lustre and Agalloch. Other stuff I love to hear, but that may be not so audible in my music includes: The Pat Metheny Group, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Caspian, Alcest, Meuchelmord, Zac Brown, Telefon Tel Aviv and many other bands and artists from all the music genres.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because it’s amazing! Hahaha
No seriously, metalheads should consider giving it a chance because it has been made with passion. And I really do mean it.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far I have released 2 demos (“Winter Eternal” and “Abisso”), 2 split albums (“Where Mountains Pierce The Nightsky” with HaatE and “Sed Auiis” with Nebel Uber Den Urnenfeldern & Eternal Spell) and also 2 full length album (“Abisso” which is the rerecorded version of the demo, and the newest one, “Night Sky”).
I must say that each and every record have received a nice response according to my expectations, but my latest one, “Night Sky”, is going extraordinarily well. And it’s going far beyond my sweetest expectations.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Nope, for the moment I chosen not to play live. I’d like to imagine people listen to my music plunged into the loneliness of their rooms instead being amongst a noisy crowd. I think I imagine my music as an “intimate path” to travel.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Probably everyone should know that I’ve just released my new full-length album “Night Sky”.
It has been self-produced, self-released and self-promoted by me, and just me. It has been a great effort for me to put everything together to make this release possible, but I made it at the end.
“Night Sky” is an atmospheric black metal album with folk and post rock influences and the use of odds instruments like accordion, harmonica and flutes. Everything flows for the time of a shy hour and 5 tracks. It’s all about an “introspective voyage” under the starlit sky.
Why should they be interested in it? Because it’s genuine.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
That’s a good question actually. I have so many plans and so little time to do them all.
Anyway the first thing you have to expect from Chiral is a new album, a new full-length coming (most likely) in spring 2016. But you have to expect something quite different from Night Sky. It’ll be a sort of an evolution towards a more ambient and stifling sound.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can start by looking into my website: and then go on with my Bandcamp page: where you can find the complete Chiral’s discography.
If anyone’s interested in buying anything from me the leading page is still the Bandcamp one, or also the Chiral’s Webstore can come in handy:
