Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
If Ende exists since 2011, the idea to create something allowing to bring back the oldschool black metal Aura, goes back to 2008. At the beginning, the first demo, “The God's rejects” was recorded without any intent to release it officially, it was very personnal process.
The band is composed by T.Njodr (Drums) and I.L (Voices, Guitars & Bass). We are accompanied on the shows with 3 live members sessions who help us to make our prestations possible.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Ende is a return to the black metal roots. We make all things with a real conviction and devotion. Some parts of the scene of  90’are our influences and a special vision of the ancient occultism too. The better way to explain and to understand our roots would be to read the lyrics during a complete listening of the album, really.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
People who are in the same approach can understand what we are doing. I think our public is here.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
“The God's rejects” was put aside for 7 years before Cold Dark Matter Records released it in May 2015, on tape support.
In 2010, the first album was recorded in a very personal approach and with no particular desire to make it available. That changed later, in 2012 when a deal was concluded with the German label Obscure Abhorrence Productions and “Whispers of a dying earth” was released on CD. The last two titles from this opus are special since they were recorded unplugged in 2004, showing the need to go back to the black metal roots had been already around for ages..
In may 2015, the second album « The rebirth of I » was recorded. Once again Obscure Abhorrence Productions releases the album on CD. On October, 31th, This new opus will be avaible.
I think it is a great advantage to make things simple and honest. This is probably the reason why the public and the media have quickly approved Ende.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Ende's first gig was on July the 11th at the Forest Fest Open Air, Switzerland with Belphegor, Angantyr... At this time, some new shows are programmed for 2015 and 2016 in France. Of course, we’re looking for more gigs in France, in the rest of the Europe or others countries too.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We wish to work with those who are motivated and appreciate our approach of the black metal music.
We contacted some media platforms and bands because their works are on the same tracks. Citing them would be too long but we stay opened at all honest proposition and collaboration.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
In a first time, to make more gigs. We have a split release project on 2016 and we are currently working on.
We’ve plannified the recording of the next full-lengh during 2016 too. Many things are coming up.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We use some internet platforms such as Bandcamp, Youtube and Facebook. So you can to discover and listen Ende on all these supports. Also, to buy our releases and merch, you can check our label Obscure Abhorrence Productions or contact us directly.
