Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Filth Pig was formed by me in spring 2015. I was active in Eternal Wisdom and other projects in the past but I was always interested in Industrial Metal music. So I started Filth Pig as a one-man-band to create my own homage to 90´s Industrial Metal bands like Ministry, Godflesh, Meat Machine or Nailbomb. I wrote and produced the first full-length album “Youthful Nihilism (or a Cold Realization of the Anthropomorphic Illusion)” which will be released on September 21st 2016. It contains 11 tracks of strangeness and morbidity.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
As I said I´m influenced by 90´s Industrial Metal bands but I can´t hide my musical past. A lot of riffs sounds a little bit like Dissection and other Swedish Black/Death Metal stuff. But there is no rigid line in my music. Every song have an individual sound and story. You will found Thrash Metal or Punk influences as well. Let yourself be surprised.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Filth Pig is about nihilism and Filth pig sounds as the name suggests, filthy. It’s an underground DIY low-fi band. If You like some crap, Filth Pig is the right band for you.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
The first release is still pending. Filth Pig is totally unknown at the moment. But I´m curious about the reactions after the release of  “Youthful Nihilism (or a Cold Realization of the Anthropomorphic Illusion)”.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
No and no live activities are planned for the future.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I want to run Filth Pig by myself because I like DIY artists. So I´m not looking for a label. Filth Pig is a band who make music for a little group of people which are receptive of the aura of the music. If you are interested in my music it´s nice but if you´re not it´s fine, too. Zines can feel free to contact me for promotional Cd´s or other things.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
I will start writing the second album in the next time. I want to incorporate more bizarre and morbid stuff and maybe more noise and electronic sounds. Thematically, it will be a journey into my personal shadow side again.
