Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
Frank X 2nd album titled Frank X & The Unreality Show has been released this last Jan 18th. We could feel excitement for its release and enthusiasm from the positive responses received so far! It is the 2nd chapter of this funny trilogy concept about mankind's evolution which brings you into a comedic musical journey!

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Though most noticed some Devin Townsend influences on the overall, all agreed to say it brings a fresh and interesting soundscape ponctuated with symphonic and choirs touches up to enhance the groovy and mostly chuggy riffing all along! Add vocals in a rawish Alice in Chain style and you got a quite good picture of the whole thing!

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
Recorded in Utopix Studios (Frank X home studio),this 2nd release shows a more mature and solid production. It features also the great voice of the legendary Luc Lemay of Gorguts who gratified one track of his deep growls and guttural phrasing! You can enjoy that epic meeting of both frontmans as well then exclusive footage in Luc's home studio in this funny video.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
From Lucifa's first attempt to raise evil armies on planet earth by trying to outwit God on the first album, his prolific but unexpected return in this 2nd chapter will bring his lot of excitements, unreal chaos but also Lucifa's depression through some quirky and awkwards moments as usual. From track to track unfolds Lucifa's and God's dumbness that will certainly make you laugh a good shot! Interests also go onto arts for each track of the album as well then storybooks or visuals and imageries related to the concept you can appreciate in the free digi-booklets or videos.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
While this Sophomore album catches more interest up from new listeners, a 2nd video is on the way to be released this summer 2017 to provide an additional imaginative visual on this Goofy epic adventure.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
The album is only available in digital format from major streaming or downloading platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, Microsoft store, google play, bandcamp etc...

Where and how will you promote this new release?
Either from the well known Decibel Magazine to Metal Nation Radio, Metal Devastation Radio, Prog Metal Zone or from many other reviews and DJs since the debut album, the fan base gets quickly bigger from day to day for a band that didn't even exist less than 2 years ago. Recently, one track even reached more than 2000 downloads in only one week that clearly demonstrates much interest which is so gratifying for a pretty new artist. Comments from listeners not much into such kind of Prog metal genre have however admitted the album worth the listen for its undeniable entertainment that makes me guess something right should have been accomplished.

Where can we order it from?
You can get it on or on any of the above mentioned download or streaming services. Note that the Debut album is still offered for FREE on the website!
