Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Like Animals started in 2008 as a 4 -piece band. We made the decision to become a 3 piece act in 2009 and we’ve had 1 member change in since then.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style is a blend of technical, emotional progressive hard rock with glimpses of math and groove-oriented riffs. Individually we have some different musical influences but as a band id have to credit The Fall of Troy, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die and the Mars Volta as the main influences of Like Animals.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
A fresh outlook on music, definitely not your standard “metal”. We take great pride in being different and hopefully listeners can appreciate what we are trying to do.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far we’ve release 2 full length albums  (“Sweet Whispers, Plagued Ears” and “The Undertoad”) We then released a 3 song ep called “The 2012 Ep” followed by another 3-song offering called “The Wild”. We are just about to drop our newest album which is entitled “Feral” on January 22nd 2016.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We’ve been fortunate enough to have played over 400 live shows throughout the years. We’ve taken our music across both the east and west coast of Canada and have played a few major festivals and support slots in Ontario alongside many big acts.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We simply just want to show the world what we have to offer. We take great pride in our music and we really feel its an added bonus that we can fit in on many different genre bills.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Besides releasing and promoting our newest album Feral, lots of shows and touring on the horizon. We have a music video and cd release show lined up for january and lots of PR for this new offering.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
