Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Our meeting was the result of a chance encounter at a gig in Reading, which in turn lead to a jam, which in turn spawned the band. Up until then we had only been aware of each other within the music scene from being in other bands.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Heavy Blues Stoner. Our influences from the past are bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Free. More recently; Tool, Mastodon and Elder.

Why should a metalhead buy your album?
The songs have a dynamic depth to them, musically, rhythmically and lyrically. Also, we do love a good riff.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our first release was an EP called ‘So Flows Our Fate’ which has garnered a great response from various blogs and national press alike, and ultimately lead to us playing at Bloodstock Festival.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Our favourite place to be is on stage, and after 178 shows, a convenient fact based on our near constant touring schedule.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
The inspiration behind our very band name is based on the Boston Molasses Disaster, as is the subject matter of the EP song ‘Rotten Teeth’. This theme then spread throughout the writing process of the whole EP. However, it’s not merely meant to be a factual re-telling of events. We are interested in the human stories buried with these tumultuous times. Therefore each song, while in a historical context, is always written from a first person perspective, as though we were there experiencing the events unfold ourselves.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
The imminent release of our Debut album ‘These Paths We Tread’ via HeviSike Records in the spring. We are especially excited about the vinyl version which will feature the artwork of Dominic Sohor based on the Mythic themes included in the songs. After that we intend to tour the UK extensively, and make our first forays into Europe and possibly the US.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
All our music and merchandise is available on our bandcamp page: and we are also distributed by HeviSike Records and Hiberancular Records
