Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
"Leech" is Pigskinner's debut album. It's out there as we speak It is a self released album, featuring 15 short and straightforward tracks full of blasts, groove and shitty grunts. I'm happy with the final outcome.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
You can say it's grindcore. It features some death metal or hardcore here and there, but it's mainly a grindcore release. I won't say that I'm playing something groundbreaking that people haven't heard before, but Pigskinner is definitely something interesting for fans of the extreme sound.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The album was recorded, mixed & mastered at Shithole Studio by me. It took me some time to find the sound that fits the songs, but the actual recording process was simple and easy after that. I had the advantage to work on my music any time of the day.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork, as well as Pigskinner's logo have been designed by Giannis "Remedy Art" Nakos of Mortal Torment fame, who has worked with bands like The Crown, Prostitute Disfigurement, Uncleansed and many more. I'm really proud to have worked with a great artist and friend like Giannis. The songs are more about social matters, as well as weed, gore, bacon and various light matters. I prefer to have fun while writing music as it seems.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Not looking for something to gain in particular. My aim is to write music I personally like and have fun while doing. If I manage to keep Pigskinner rolling it's even better!

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
"Leech" is available in both digital & physical copies. It is a self financed release so I tried to have the best possible result with limited resources. You can visit Pigskinner's bandcamp or facebook page for more info.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
Since this is a studio project, my biggest weapon right now is the internet. Social networks have helped me in a lot of ways. With the right use everything can give you a helping hand.

Where can we order it from?
You can listen to the album or buy a digital copy from Pigskinner's bandcamp page (, contact me directly for a physical copy through the band's facebook page ( or via mail (
