Please present your label, when and where was it started, who is involved in its activities and what genres are promoted by it.
Solitude Productions established in 2005 as a doom metal label. We decided that this metal genre don't have enough support and many great band around are still unsigned. We've done more than 150 releases and think it was a serious work. In 2006 we decided to make a sub label called BadMoodMan Music which was aimed to produce bands which doesn't fit main label. So all bands who play "doomy" music are here.

Tell us a few words on each or the most important releases of your label, and which of them are still available for purchase.
Almost all our releases are available for purchase. Think I should name most important bands for us - the first one it EA. It's the most mysterious and successful project to date. Also we have great releases from Ophis, Howling Void, When Nothing Remains, Abstract Spirit, Comatose Vigil, The Morningside.

What are the most important features you look for in a band that is or has the chance to be signed on your label?
Now we look for good music and good production. Last days its become easier to make recording at home or small studios but not all of them are good quality. And the main problem when musicians don't understand the quality of their product. We are getting many promos with demo sound which they offer as the ready album and of course we can't make a release of such products on CD.

How can a band get in touch with you? What should bands know before submitting their promos for your consideration?
Usually bands get in touch via e-mail. We prefer and accept digital promos. But usually we have many plans and now we can work only with the best ones at our opinion.

What's the most important thing in the relationship between you and your bands? What is your label offering to its bands?
The most important thing is the trust. We make a release give a part of produced CDs to the band to sell on shows and we send CDs to zines and radios worldwide. Usually we make enough promotion and most of the bands are satisfied with our work.

Is there anything you planned with your label and has not yet been completed?
Well think it's the Desire albums reissue but the band disappeared. The rest confirmed plans we publish on our site in Release plan section.

How does the future looks for your label? Any major projects you would like to share with us?
Don't know anything about the future. We have some projects in mind but we have a rule not to publish anything before we don't have all materials on hands. Also everything will depend on sales which became much lower last days. We'll see....
