Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Spine Crown is a project that was conceived a long time ago. Peterson Martins and I (Rodrigo Marchetti) had already played together in other bands in the past. Brutal and Horror Chamber. Some time after we left Horror Chamber we started talking about creating a new project. Then in December 2013 we met and started writing a couple of songs. Peterson's brother, Iuri Martins joined the band in early 2014 as bassist. It was time to find a drummer, then we invited Thiago Hertel former drummer of the black metal band Forest of Demons.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We describe our style as death metal. There are many bands that we love and that has influenced us over the years, but we believe that the main influences to create Spine Crown were, Six Feet Under, Death and Morbid Angel.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
As musicians we've try to catch the essence of the style and add some personal preferences that we'd like to hear as metalheads. We think they can feel it in our songs and identified themselves with our work.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We've released a Ep containing two songs, called The Evil Next Door. The reception has been great, we had the opportunity to have our songs played in international radios, we had good reviews and the public response has been very positive. We are very pleased with the results so far.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We have not played live yet. After the recording of the ep, we had some personal problems that delayed a bit our debut on stage. Now we are putting together a tour that will start in May to support the release.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
What they should know is that we are a band that worked hard to create a quality material, with personality but without abandoning our roots. That said, we believe that our work has just begun, we are evolving musically every day and working to create something genuine and win our place alongside so many other great bands.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
In addition to the tour we want to start in May, we plan to release a new song that will be the first single from our full album that we want record later this year

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can listen and buy our songs in our band camp the page.
