Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
If you focus on the music of the album you will recognize that it can be listened as one long song. But we decided to cut it into pieces so the listener has this illusion he is listening to different tracks. When we started writing the music for Liberation it wasn't intended, but as we went on it kinda developed a life of its one and in the end it made sense to us.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
It is hard to describe. We have combined so many different styles in this album that you can't clearly label it. What is a good thing in my opinion. The main influence surely is black metal music, so in a widely interpreted way it is black metal.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
We recorded Liberation at Studio42 music production, a small but cosy studio which is run by members of Dark Suns. I think in the end it took us almost a month to record, mix and master the album.
The only thing I remember, except recording music, is it was quiet hot. Almost the hole time, which is kinda strange in Germany.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
Well, we struggled with the artwork for a very long time, almost two years. We had several ideas but none of them was satisfying. In the end we asked Henri Selbmann, a friend of ours to draft one. He came up with the artwork and voila. There is definitely a link between artwork and lyrics. One of the mane themes of the lyrics is the sea, especially in Whitehaven. The lyrics are inspired by philosophy, the sea and its relationship with mankind through the ages and everyday life.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We enjoy performing our songs life, so the main aim is just to play life and enjoy the moment.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
Liberation is released in a strictly limited number of copies in digipack. There are only 100 of them printed.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
As we said before we enjoy playing life, so this is our main way to promote it. So if anybody is interested in doing a gig with us, just ask.

Where can we order it from?
You can order the album via bandcamp, by sending us a mail or by contacting us on our official facebook account.
