Please present your label, when and where was it started, who is involved in its activities and what genres are promoted by it.
Wormholedeath is a record label, publishing and film production company born 5 years ago. After having signed the first two artists we suddenly inked a deal with AURAL MUSIC GROUP for marketing, distribution and promotion of the label. Wormholedeath became a part of the AURAL MUSIC GROUP together with important labels like Code666 or Dreamcell11 ...  After a very hard work on the promotion of the releases WARNER / CHAPPELL MUSIC offered us a worldwide publishing deal. Everything started to grow very fast and with the help of the great distribution of Aural Music and SPV we placed our releases almost everywhere in the world. We started signing great bands like Mechanical God Creation, The Way Of Purity, Cadaveria (management), Raw Power, Crysalys, Ravenscry that sold very well and some young and hard working bands ... We are 3 people, me my wife and another guy...I am label manager and A&R, Natascia takes care of promotion and Marcello is in charge of all the administration like accounting and back office. Then we have an office in Japan (Wormholedeath Japan) managed by Masahiko Kishimoto and a few partners more: in Serbia (Grom Records) for the eastern countries and the Trip Records in Sweden for the Scandinavian market ... We are also cooperating with a non-profit label called Revolution Harmony for the north American distribution of some selected releases. As for the digital market we are really happy with The Orchard wich is our digital aggregator. We don't have a precise music genre, we work with modern rock and metal so it's really hard to say wich kind of music Wormholedeath produces. We also do A&R for our sister label Dreamcell11 that was existing before Wormholedeath and we are really happy with this task as well.
Tell us a few words on each or the most important releases of your label, and which of them are still available for purchase.
All our releases are still available for purchase both on CD and digital download. The best sellers right now are "Crosscore" from The Way Of Purity and "One way Out" from Ravenscry ... We are also really happy with Crysalys, Mechanical God Creation  and Story Of Jade debut albums and we handle Cadaveria's management wich is also great as they relased a fantastic new album. Of course we love all our releases and we are happy with all of them but the way we work is a long term promotion and development so most of the albums are too "young" to say something ... In fact the best sellers are all older releases we pushed so hard non-stop during the last 2-3 years. We don't release many albums so we take a lot of time to promote them...By the way I am really looking forward to release the new albums from Story Of Jade, Levania and Underwell these bands showed such a big potential with their debut releases.
What are the most important features you look for in a band that is or has the chance to be signed on your label?
Well, when it comes to signing a band we are really picky ... I am A&R and my job is to be creative...We don't have the boring tasks of sellings cds, ship them, distribute, account as this is Aural Music task... We love the creative job so a band must be ready to discuss with us the songs, sound, image, visual aspects ecc... We understand the concept and we help the band to make it reality.
This is the real promotion as if the band has a great image and something that makes the music stand out the album will be successful ... Our artists must be recognisable and not another drop of water in the ocean if you know what I mean. There are alway great ideas in a pre-production recording but also a lot of wrong choices. Our job is to develop the good part and try to cut the wrong things.  That's why we have some great producers like Wahoomi Corvi, Jonathan Mazzeo, Christian Donaldson cooperating with us: they understand what we and the band want sound/musicwise and the label can create with the artist the right image, artwork, visuals. Sound and visual have to match and be just one cencept. That's how we work, so if a band want to sign with us, they have to agree with us. Otherwise, the world is full of labels, producers, distributors ecc... They can work with them.
How can a band get in touch with you? What should bands know before submitting their promos for your consideration?
Oh well, it's really easy. They can just go to our website  and click our contact section...There they can just read the submission guideline wich is really easy as we need everything digital. This way the bands can save money/time and we don't have to struggle with mountains of cds/papers ecc... This is also good for the nature that don't get polluted even more.
Before submitting they have to understand that they are approaching some professionals, this is what we do as day job, so being humble and respectful is the main thing at the beginning.  A potential interest by our side starts there. Too many bands approach us like we owe them something...This is very unrespectful as we owe them nothing.
What's the most important thing in the relationship between you and your bands? What is your label offering to its bands?
We are a small/underground label and we rather prefere to sign or work with a band with very nice people in the line up than working with bigger bands who have nothing to do with us. I mean of course the music has to be great and the band must sell, but since we are not a big label that has to pay people ecc we can always focus on the potential of the bands and push the artist for 2-3 albums even if the first release didn't reach the break event point or didn't sell enough. But this condition is always related to the relationship we develop with the people...We don't have to be friends, but at least we must respect each other's work and have fun together.
Is there anything you planned with your label and has not yet been completed?
No, everything planned till now has been completed as we only decide to the things that we can realistically achieve. By the way the struggle is always on the release schedule that I would like to be more smooth and fast...You know, for a label like us the financial side of this job is the hardest part...We fight with all our energies, everyday, to do what we plan when it comes to the release schedule.
How does the future looks for your label? Any major projects you would like to share with us?
The whole situation in Europe is really scary, and this affects our minds making us work with fear and not in a happy and relaxed mood. In the other hand we are strong, with 5 years activity and some great partners helping us everyday. We feel somehow stronger than many other labels out there. We are a real company with our own publishing division registered to SIAE (we pay taxes, mechanicals, accounting ecc), and we are quite different from many of the labels "working" nowadays without a real company, distribution ecc... We still distribute a lot of cds in shops, and this is a big cost, but somehow it makes us stand out in the crowded label-scene since our bands can be proud of having a real and official release, worldwide distribution and publishing. We also invested money in a cool website and we keep it updated daily.  A great project we started that we can share with you, as you know, is a cd pressing division that will help us to offer these pressing services to other labels, bands ecc.
How can anyone get in touch with you? Please list your website, webstore and/or social media links.
