Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Xoth was formed in 2014. We all met around that time and decided to start a band that encompassed what we all love. Ben our bassist was in Warbringer for a while. He toured the world with them and put out an album “Waking into Nightmares.” Jeremy our drummer was in Lecherous Nocturne and played on their album “The Age of Miracles has Passed.” Our guitarists Tyler and Woody met while working at School of Rock in Seattle.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Death/Black metal combo with melodic shred guitars, slap bass, and extreme drumming. We are influenced by a lot of different things, but we really like bands like Bal-Sagoth, Obscura, Goblin, Akercocke, and Frank Zappa.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We offer the listener something fresh new and ballsy. We give catchy choruses away like they’re going out of fashion. We blast their ears off with intense space shred. We give heart attacks with the lightning double kick. We blow out guts with the low end funk style. That s why boy.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our debut “Hostile Terraforming” was received well in the community. All the folks who gave it a once over said that we had potential. We slammed out the songs in the studio pretty quick and hit the road immediately after it was released.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Playing live is what we do best. We play extensively in the greater Northwest area, Washington for the most part, and usually draw well. The audience has fun, we have fun, everyone has fun together.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We’ve all been at this game for awhile now. We have an original product that’s high quality for the low overhead, and we turn over numbers.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
The next year is going to be about touring in new market, the east coast and Canada, and getting our shit together to cut another album. We’re already cooking up smelly shit for your ass.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
The best place to do that is
